Bachelor's degree plus 10 years of experience in related fields; a higher degree may be traded for years of experience.
Individual must possess a strong operational understanding of the connector manufacturing processes, supplier interfaces, and quality processes as well as possess a strong understanding of the processes to properly assemble and install connectors in and on the next higher assemblies.
The candidate must posses strong technical understanding of high reliability interconnect systems from
DC
to multiple GHz.
Strong communication skills and demonstrated leadership abilities are required.
Process improvement/6 six sigma training is strongly desired.
A security clearance (SSBI) or the ability to get one is required.
Description:
EPTC
(PM&P).
The candidate will support and lead activities related to connector and interconnect technology including qualification and implementation on emerging projects.
The successful candidate will actively work with the procurement team to develop and manage vendor capability, component screening, and component preparation for manufacturing.
The successful candidate will further work with project customers to help establish design solutions and resolve technical problems as they arise in all design and production phases of the program.
Some travel may be required.
Will be working on various projects.

Typical Minimum Education / Experience:
9 Years with Bachelors in Science; 7 Years with Masters; 4 Years with PhD.
