Roles and Responsibilities:
-user computer systems, including coordination with network administrators.
The individual interacts with users and evaluates vendor products, makes recommendations to purchase hardware and software, coordinates installation and provides backup recovery.
The individual also develops and monitors policies and standards for allocation related to the use of computing resources.
Ancillary duties may include setting up administrator and service accounts, maintaining system documentation, tuning system performance, installing system wide software and allocating mass storage space.Minimum Qualifications:
, you must minimally meet the knowledge, skills, and abilities listed below:
, Computer Engineering, Mathematics, Information Systems, or equivalent experience.
(6) years system administration experience.
Experience with Windows based workstation operation systems.
Experience with Unix/Solaris or Linux, Remedy or ClearQuest experience preferred.
Must have good interpersonal skills in order to work with end-users of the system and handle support phone calls/e-mails.
Must be able to work well within a team environment.
Must be able to adapt quickly to change.
Position requires a current TS/
SCI
w/ Full Scope Polygraph Clearance.
Final Grade determination based upon qualifications of selected candidate.
