In case you haven't heard the unemployment rate is up again despite the economy adding 39,000 jobs in November. If that isn't bad enough, well how about good ole' Newt calling for an end to what he calls "class welfare" for the unemployed. If that isn't a bombshell statement, you must be dead or at least deaf. For some strange reason, many GOP supporters seem to think the unemployment problem and providing a safety net for the problem is somehow welfare. Obviously, these are folks that simply are out of touch with the working class to say the least. Currently a record number of long term unemployed are still looking for work and some GOP supporters like good ole Newt thinks the problem is unemployment welfare checks. If that isn't politics at its worse than my name is Mikey - you know the "he'll eat/believe anything Mikey."
It's a real sad day for unemployed job seekers that politics comes before progress. Now that some 2 million unemployed have stopped receiving unemployment compensation thanks to the GOP blocking the latest bill to extend unemployment benefits, what exactly is the plan for these 2 million people and their families - just before Christmas might I add. Oh, and what about the millions in jeopardy of being cutoff from unemployment benefits early 2011 from Newt's coined "class welfare"? The bottom line is the GOP doesn't have a plan for job creation. The plan is to get tax cuts for Millionaires and Billionaires and ride off into the sunset with their mistresses. Oh and do tell - who is going to pay for the $700 Billion lost tax revenue? Who cares, that's a problem for the next generation. Now that is fiscally responsible. Lol...and Newt thinks he is Presidential. Wow. If you work for a living you should be scared, very scared at the threat of a Newt Gingrich Administration in 2012.
