walmart jobs boost struggling local economy

In comes Walmart to the the economy's rescue. Walmart's plan to fill 1,300 new jobs in Arizona is news well received for the state of Arizona. Arizona is struggling financially, perhaps even more so, than most states. Currently, Arizona is so strapped for cash, that it is looking at spending cuts which means job cuts, borrowing funds and raising taxes. That's right all three are open for consideration at the same time. Gee and you think you have it bad. Three times is certainly not the charm in this case. So while Walmart's growth is certainly slow at best, bringing 1300 new jobs to the Arizona area seems like the golden goose. In any case, it sure is a boost to the Arizona local economy. To top it off, Arizona's largest employer is none other than Walmart. Long live the Retail King - Walmart. Cool
