Still wondering what it takes to get a job these days? Well for starters you will need to get your prospective employer interested enough to call you in for an interview. So how do you accomplish that? Many job seekers all pulling out all the stops to get noticed with very unique tactics to get noticed...like sending employers gifts laced with resumes. Talk about stepping it up to get hired!
These type of tactics are on the rise, which is making it harder and harder for the average "Joe the Job Seeker" to get an interview nod. So in short, employers are becoming more and more impressed with over the top - get noticed tactics, such that you will likely need to go over the top, yourself, just to get an interview. So, kudos to those stepping it up to get a job. For those still looking - expect hoop jumping to be apart of the "get an interview process" for the near future. Thus, you must do whatever it takes to make a fabulous first impression, if you want any chances of beating out the next guy for the job.
