Well we all know the reality of the current recession and what that means as far a job losses but who would have thought you could get a hotel room in Vegas for $26 bucks. Its true, the economy is tough on everyone even the casinos in Las Vegas. Judy Bagley, knows of the hard times in Vegas better than most workers since getting canned after 28 years of service with Fitzgeralds Casino. Her position was eliminated along with many others. As if that isn't bad enough, cashier jobs are hard to come by in the area and when they do, folks are jumping over each others head just to fill out a job application and get in the running. With so many people vying for the same job opening, needless to say, the odds of landing the job decreases considerably. Wow, what's the world coming to? At the end of the roaring twenties headed into the bleak thirties tough times meant gambling was up. Now people aren't hardly even gambling. Think that says it all right there. Hummmhh. Maybe Vegas should be reconsidered...from the looks of it, $100 dollars will go a whole lot further than it did just a few short years ago. That is what capitalism is all about - ups and downs. It would be foolish to think you can charge a premium for anything forever. So, take advantage of this opportunity while it lasts. Cool
